In Kind Gifts

The Lighthouse for the Blind in New Orleans gratefully accepts and appreciates in-kind gifts. These types of gifts are given to blind and visually impaired clients that otherwise have no resources or means to purchase these items on their own. While the Lighthouse would like to be able to accept all types of gifts, we do not have the storage space or the means to accommodate all gifts.

You may call the Lighthouse Development Office at (504) 899-4501 ext. 209 to inquire if the items that you have to donate are being accepted.

The Lighthouse DOES NOT accept the following items:

• Boats
• Clothing
• Exercise Equipment
• Furniture
• Mardi Gras Beads
• Vehicles - of any type

The ARC of Greater New Orleans gratefully accepts donations of all Mardi Gras beads. Please contact them at (504) 620-2495.
