Orientation & Mobility Training (O&M)

For children who cannot see to safely interact within their surroundings, The Lighthouse provides O&M training to teach the skills necessary for independent travel.  Training sessions are held in the community and within the child’s school environment.  These services are funded through contractual agreements between The Lighthouse for the Blind and area school systems.
